Description:
This VOR arrangement is being established in order to implement a province-wide system capable of meeting the HWCDS needs of various laboratories across the Province of Ontario.
While HWCDS is required throughout Ontario there are currently approximately thirty-three (33) Ontario Government laboratories and research facilities across seven (7) ministries as well as eleven (11) Public Health Ontario laboratories that generate, control, collect, and safely store waste.
In addition to approximately thirty-three (33) Ontario Government laboratories, correctional facilities and other ministries, government agencies and approved PFOs produce waste and would have access to this VOR arrangement.
