The IT Security Products and Services VOR will expire on March 1, 2023 and there are currently no further extensions to exercise on the current VOR arrangement and no stop-gap agreement is currently being considered. Clients are reminded that subordinate agreements initiated prior to expiry of the existing Master Agreement (MA), can survive the MA by a period of up to 12 months.
At the time of expiry of the current agreement, users of the VOR arrangement will be required to follow their respective procurement directive to procure goods and services related to IT Security Products and Services.
The replacement VOR arrangement is expected to be in place by the end of June 2023.
The Vendor of Record (VOR) arrangement was established through an open competitive procurement process for the acquisition of IT security products and related services, including maintenance and support and implementation services. The use of this VOR arrangement will be mandatory for all Ontario Public Service (OPS) ministries and agencies covered by the OPS Procurement Directive. Provincially Funded Organizations (PFOs) will have the option to leverage the VOR arrangement. The VOR arrangement will have an initial term of two years, with an option by MGCS to extend the Agreement on the same terms and conditions for up to one additional term of one year.
