This Vendor of Record (VOR) arrangement was established to provide Public Cloud Services, specifically, Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) services to all Ministries and approved agencies of the Government of Ontario, and may optionally be used by Non-OPS Entities.
Qualified vendors must be able to supply both Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) products and services, as defined by NIST, that meet the Ministry's requirements.
Cloud Computing - Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS)
Public cloud Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) products and services that provide the ability to provision processing, storage, networks, and other fundamental computing resources where organizations can deploy and run arbitrary software, which can include operating systems and applications.
Cloud Computing - Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS)
Public cloud Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) products and services that provide the ability to deploy onto the cloud infrastructure organization-created or acquired applications created using programming languages, libraries, services, and tools supported by the Vendor.
The term of this arrangement is for two years with the option to extend the contract for three additional one-year terms in accordance with the same terms and conditions.
