Arrangements are currently being made with the manufacturers, listed below, to extend the province's concession dollars to the BPS.
The province has a Vendor of Record (VOR) arrangement for the supply and delivery of passenger, light commercial and enforcement vehicles to fill Ontario Public Service (OPS) vehicle requirements.
The VOR arrangement may be accessed, on a voluntary basis, by operational agencies and crown corporations of the Ontario Government and by Broader Public Sector (BPS) organizations including municipalities, schools and hospitals.
The current VOR arrangement includes contracts with:
- KIA Canada Inc.
- Ford Motor Company of Canada, Limited
- Toyota Canada Incorporated
- General Motors of Canada Limited
- Chrysler Canada Inc.
- Mitsubishi Motor Sales of Canada, Inc.
- Volkswagen Group Canada Inc.
- Mercedes-Benz Canada Inc.
Process:
In order to maintain audit ability of the BPS tender process, you will add the following language to your tender.
Add:
"(BPS -- your official name) is part of the Broader Public Service of the Province of Ontario and as such may be eligible for concessions (discounts) on vehicles included in the Ministry of Government Services Vendor of Record arrangement OSS-00163907."
The dealer who has picked up the tender will contact their respective National Fleet office who will supply the appropriate concession, if available.
