This mandatory VOR arrangement for Security Screening Services applies to all Ontario Public Service (OPS) ministries, Commission public bodies and Infrastructure Ontario for contractor and employment screening purposes since June 30, 2019.
Triton Canada Inc. is authorized to administer security screening services, for five years, with the possibility of three additional one-year extensions effective April 2019.
The following three services categories are included in this VOR arrangement, further services will be added when available:
Service Category 1: OPS Contractor Screening
The Vendor will provide check processing services for contractor screening, on behalf of Supply Ontario (SO) and agencies.
Service Category 2: OPS Employee Screening
The Vendor will provide check processing services of prospective and existing employees on behalf of SO.
Service Category 3: OPP Civil Screening
The Vendor will provide file intake services only, to facilitate the processing of police record checks by the OPP Security Enquiries Unit (SEU), for OPP Detachments.
